The dialer is calling the same number again in the campaign!
If you get a complaint that you are repetitively calling a consumer back to back immediately export your contact list from the dialer to make sure that duplicate numbers did not somehow get loaded.
If you have done an export and the export doesn't show any duplicate numbers, then the complaint about numbers being called several times could be a carrier trying to pass the call after the person pushed the ignore button.
The dialer will only call the numbers that you have uploaded into the dialer. The dialer automatically scrubs each list that is uploaded for duplicate numbers meaning the dialer will only upload the number once.
NOW … If you are uploading a second file of numbers into an already existing campaign you must check the box " Don't upload Any Phone Numbers that are already in this Campaign”. The dialer will check the numbers in the new file against the numbers that have already been loaded to the campaign loading only the new numbers that have not been loaded yet, only loading one instance of a number to the dialer.
If you did not check this box, the system will just upload the numbers to the campaign, and you could have uploaded a number several times due to the number being on both files meaning your export would reflect this showing duplicate numbers.
To fix this create a new campaign and start from scratch. Be sure to check the box “Don’t upload Any Phone Numbers that are already in this Campaign”, to ensure you do not end up with duplicate numbers in the same campaign.Duplicates, Same Number, repeat, multiple,duplicate
