What is the dial rate override?

Dial rate Override is how many numbers that are being dialed for each agent logged into the dialer.

If set on Auto, it will keep track and adjust the rate for your agents on how the phones are answering. But it takes a while for it to gather data to work efficiently for that campaign. (this is best used for telemarketing where you do not change campaigns and you just add numbers to the file.)   If you are creating new campaigns each day it starts over on gathering the information in how the calls are answering for that campaign only.

We suggest setting the dial rate at 3 unless you only have 1 person on the dialer and move it up or down depending on how calls are coming in for your agent/s.  They should get a call every 30 to 45 seconds if your numbers are good in your file.  30 to 45 seconds seems to be the right time so your agents don’t seem rushed and can re-focus for the next call.
