Dialer has dead air when the account pops up!

1. For a small number of dead air calls, this can be normal, as these calls are most likely customers that have already hung up before the call connects to your agent.  You may be running the dialer too fast if you just put in a disposition and a new account populated with nothing but dead air on the line. You normally want a few seconds between calls, after dispositioning a call, not an immediate call. If your agent is getting a large number of callers immediately after disposition the call, you need to slow the dial rate down to space them out.  This will also allow your agents to feel refreshed and keep the dialer running smoothly.

Also, if Answering Machine Detection is turned off, then it could be an answering machine and your agent was busy on the previous call and was not able to hear the opening recording.

2. For a large number of dead air calls. 99.99% of times large amounts of dead air calls is because your number is being blocked by the carriers because the caller ID you are using had been reported as spam, please google your phone number to confirm.  To fix this please purchase a new phone number from your phone provider to use on the dialer.  On the off chance 0.01% there is some other issue please report at least 5 phone numbers you called with this link https://tmaxdialer.com/report-issue/
